How exciting, the Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament is happening again soon!!!
Once again, the Den Bowling Club will be supporting and hosting the Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament. This is the 89th tournament, which is growing each year. This exciting tournament hosts players from all over the country. There are various categories to enter, these include:
open singles
Pheonix singles
U25 singles
mixed pairs
ladies and men’s pairs
open triples.
This is an inclusive tournament, and everyone plays more than one game, in each event. This year there have been record, modern day entries. The prize money remains the envy of the Open Bowling calendar, with fantastic prize levels, in excess of £6,000 in total.
This year the Den Bowling Club will be hosting many of the categories of competitions. The schedule for matches being played at the Den Bowling Club this year, are as follows:
Sunday 8th September – mixed pairs
Monday 9th September – open triples
Tuesday 10th September – open triples
Wednesday 11th September – singles
Friday 13th September – men’s pairs
Matches start at 09:15am and continue throughout the day.
The Den Bowling Club will be offering catering and bar facilities throughout each day. Hot and cold meals, snacks, tea/coffee, cakes, and an extensive bar service, which includes draught lager, beer and cider, is also available. All the above will be for sale, at incredibly competitive prices.
